How cool is this*? I love this period of history. It's interesting to see how the fashion changes, and then think about the events going on during these times. The French Revolution, the Industrial Revolution, the American Civil War. Such a busy century!

Beautiful! I would love to help costume an 1880's show. And an Elizabethan show. Maybe an 1860's show if we could rent all the hoop skirts. :)
Sometimes I think it would be fun to dress like that, and other times I really enjoy the freedoms our clothes today give us!
