Polly - a "glad" movie

I love this version of "Pollyana" set in the American south in the 1950s. Keisha Knight Pulliam is darling as plucky Polly and Phylicia Rashad is wonderful as the miserly aunt. I miss made-for-tv-musicals! We need more of them, yes?

I think I just figured out why I love tap-dancing so much: It is inherently cheerful. It is pretty much impossible for me to be sad when I'm watching a really good tapper... or when I finally nail a tough routine. LOVE. IT!

I love tap dancing, too! I want to take a class sometime to get back into it. I haven't done really great tapping since high school.
