I wish...

"...More than anything... more than the moon!"

It seems that the eleventh audition was the charm! I'll be playing Cinderella in Taylorsville's Into the Woods and I am shocked, elated, terrified, and honored to have the opportunity to play this dream role. I really didn't expect it! When they called the first word out of my mouth was, "Seriously?" quickly followed by, "I accept!!"

I can't wait to meet the rest of the cast and get started. I met the woman playing the Witch last night and I already love her. We only have about six weeks until we open, so I guess my business level won't be going down anytime soon. It'll be a good busy, though, 'cause I'm getting to play a part I've wanted to play in a show I've wanted to do for years! And the rehearsal and performance periods are so short it's surely going to fly by much too quickly!

So, put August 4, 5, 6, or 8th on your schedule and plan to come see me play a princess. In all my fifty some-odd productions, I've never played one before! Just another reason I am so crazy excited!!
