Fun Fact of the Day: Tortuga

Guess what I learned on my Caribbean cruise (well, one of the many fascinating facts)?

The island of Tortuga, referenced in pirate lore (and by "pirate lore" I mean the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie)?

Yeah, it's Grand Cayman. 

No wonder that had so many pirate-referenced souvenirs and attraction names and such. 

It was definitely my favorite destination. I'd love to go and just spend a week at a resort down there!

Seriously, everyone should go. Beautiful.

Still trying to re-acclimate to the snow and freeeezing temperatures. I sure do love my coats and hats and gloves and scarves right about now!
