Are You Amazing?

Why is it that a five-year old will answer this question with "Yes!" No hesitation, complete confidence. Just "Yes!" That five-year old knows she is amazing.

But ten years later, if you ask the same girl "Are you amazing?" she will have all kinds of doubt. She will have to ask herself "Am I amazing?" and she will ultimately, tragically, and incorrectly come up with the answer "Not really."

Why?

I don't have the answer. I have theories but they aren't as important as the question.

So, I ask you, the reader:

Are you amazing?

The answer is: Yes. You are amazing.

I have no doubt of that. Neither should you.

You are unique, you are wonderful, you are you.

AMAZING!!
